The Common Dubs EP’s title track showcase’s The Setup’s meticulous production style; there’s always something happening in this track, always something new to grab you, and this doesn’t let up throughout the whole EP. Under Attack is atmospheric dance music at its best; the drop is truly something else, and makes a refreshing contrast to the majority of heavy dubstep being produced these days. The Setup’s version of The Unclean by On the DL is surprisingly subtle and melodic whilst retaining a driving drum beat and a deep heavy sub. The outro decays into silence, bringing this uncommonly good EP to a close.
